Any news on the TSAA with 6-series cards?

Edit: I installed them and found no TSAA for the 6-series, the driver runs pretty stable though.

Then I won't try it out, I'm too satisfied with TSAA:D

Question..i saw people like these drivers..but these 9x.xx are the first to have the old cp and not the new cp..does it work on the 7950?

Gonna try these out

NVIDIA_G71.DEV_0293.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce 7900/7950 GX2"
NVIDIA_G71.DEV_0294.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GX2"

Just tested it. Works good on the GX2. No SLI profiles or Multi-GPU to play with..not needed aswell. So far tested CS:Source...VST gives similar perfermance as the .45..and the image quality looks nice -.-..will test out 3dmark when i get a chance...but if you got a gx2 try these out..they are pretty sweet.

Strange..i clicked colour profile..and i got this....wtf O.o

Do these drivers perform better than the 91.45's for a single 7950GX2? Oh well I guess I'll try em out.....lol

They fell the same..but the fact that its old cp..makes it intresting ><..everything is working ok..still not a single driver out with option to indicate if the gx2 is working or why the sli options are there in new cp and not in old cp..anyway gonna use these for now..like it.

I'm finding more and more surprises from inside ForceWare drivers.
Few days ago it was Transparency AA in 91.45 using GeForce 6 card, this time i've found 4xS FSAA mode (along with few others) being officially supported in drivers, yet not displayed as an option.

See what i mean? You can't select 4xS in NV CP but it will indeed register it as 4xS when i set it with NVTray.
Question thats ringing in my head is why the heck is NVIDIA hidding all the goodies when they could be superior to anything competition can offer? 6xS ? You got it. Also registered, yet no option to select it.
Want more? You guessed it. 16xS is also registered there as official mode!

So we actually have:
2x, 2xQ, 4x, 4x9T, 4xS, 6xS, 8xS and 16xS

But we can only select (in NV CP):
2x, 2xQ, 4x and 8xS

Now it's logical that you'll get crappy framerate running Quake 4 at 1600x1200 with 16xS, but lets say Tomb Raider 4 will run at incredible framerate and ultra super smooth edges even with 16xS FSAA. ANd thats what some of us need.
I'm sure there are people like me that still like to play old games in these days. 4xS and 6xS offer excellent image quality with not much higher performance hit than with regular 4x FSAA. But they aren't there as option! WHY!?
I know i can use NVTray but why use 3rd party app to do what NV CP could do in the first place!?

all the 90 series driver so far screw up cs:s hitbox registration. i don't think I'll even bother with this set because as far as I know the issue isn't widely known and probably will never be fixed.

Graphic drivers have nothing to do with hitboxes. CS:S is story on it's own when it comes to hits registration. Honstly i ahven't seen any game being so screwed up and i've played quit few of them online. For example CoD worked like a charm and i never ever even touched the autoexec where i have to modify it daily for god damn CS:S to work at least a bit enjoyable...

Why did they do away with cpl? It was buggy but easy to use.

I don't know what driver you used for this (Since you are talking in the .36 thread about .45 drivers), but I can confirm this with the .45 too.

I meantioned 91.45 as surprise regarding TrAA. For 91.36 i'm talking about FSAA modes...

Yep this is exactly the reason I created NVTweak and NVTray. To unlock all these extra features that don't show up by default.

There are a few more AA modes too. Most of them NVTray can set, but the NVIDIA control panel will say "Off". It isn't really off though. For example 2xSS is 2x2 and 4xSS is 4x4. Those still work in Direct3D as well.

I'm talking about FSAA modes for 91.45, and I noticed the same as you with the 91.36. I see it in CP too (Old and New CP).

Well ok drivers. No real improvement over the 91.45's. I have one noticable problem. Every time I exit out of GRAW I get an error message.

I was getting a error message everytime I exited Oblivion but since I uninstalled Java I hadn't had one since. I thought it was a driver problem but it turned out to be wrong. I like these drivers. :)

what does java do to create the problem? Also does anyone have any benchies to justify these drivers?
