Since NVIDIA has a new logo, (http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=75048) shouldn't we spruce up this forum also by creating a new logo.

Here are some ideas that I've been working on per MikeC's request. We're pretty set on the font but are brainstorming on whether or not to create a metal effect, colors, etc...

3 and 7 are my faves. I'm not a fan of the fades. I like the solid color with a small stroke line to give it the pop. I also wouldn't mind seeing some green options, but I understand that would take some major site redesigning.

I like #6 but with the colour blue.

7 looks good to me... I like the beveled effect.

Though 6 fits with the nvidia look better. Maybe make 2 different designs for 2 different forum skins. One with the traditional nVnews blue (and the standard forum colors) and one with the silver logo to go on a black, green and silver nvidia color scheme.

I'd really like that. I've always wished we had an alternate skin for the forums. Its been the same colors for as long as I can remember, and with the amount of time some of us spend here, itd be nice to have a little change of scenery.

I'm sure you all realize that if we get a new logo then all our t-shirts will be out-dated and we'll have to get new ones :)
