If any of you have seen this thread:

you will know that I have reached the conclusion that my mobo has conked, and i need to get a new one. :thumbdwn:

Now the help I need is which MB to get without having to do a complete system overall.

I was thinking of this one:

ASRock P4I65G S478 Intel 865G (http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=18887&vpn=P4I65G&manufacture=ASRock) but then noticed it's only an AGP1. With my vid card i need atleast an AGP3 I think.

I was also looking at this one ECS PM800-PRO-M478 (http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=18514&vpn=PM800-Pro-M478&manufacture=ECS/ELITEGROUP). What does anyone know about ECS? I sort of want the board the last a year or more...

Thinking of getting this CPU cooler as well ZALMAN CNPS7000-ALCU P4 (http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=9496&vpn=CNPS7000-ALCU&manufacture=ZALMAN%20TECH)

I would prefer to get an Intel chipset rather than a SiS, but then i don't know anything about SiS except some poor reviews - if someone recommends it, maybe i'll go for it. (help)

So if anyone can recommend a cheapish (~90$) Socket 468 mobo, or has one to lay off, i'll really appreciate it!

Buy the Asrock P4I65GV, that slot is AGP 8x aka AGP 3.0. This is the right kind of slot for your 6800 video card.

ECS is largely a crapshoot, some of their boards are good, others junk. Some of one kind last forever others die in no time. I don't sell any ECS products because of their unreliability.
