Hi lads I'm about to order a 7900GTX tomorrow for £260 but there's an EVGA one for £300 which has a 90 day upgrade program where you only pay the difference between your old and new card.
Is there any chance of the G80 being released in 90 days? If so I'll take a gamble.
Thanks,
Karl

Extremely unlikely that G80 will be out on the next 90 days
And where are you getting your GTX?

That's what's worries me, but I'm already spendig £1500 so I might gamble the extra £40. You can preorder a 7900GTX from Scan.co.uk for £258 or the EVGA from Overclockers.co.uk for £299.

Uhm, the 1900XT is a single-slotter.
Mine isn't, and I'm very sure that there are no single slot models available for purchase. Using the Accelero X3 aftermarket cooler you can make it single slot, but for most people that's not reccomended as the cards run very hot and it's better to expel the heat.

Hmm. Starting last week, NVIDIA folks are in heavy-crunch mode. September launch sounds perfect.
