View Full Version : interesting benchmark betwen SLI and GLI
thawt this was interesting.

has any one else seen it?
I see no point in running SLI in a non-certified SLI mobo.
if i'm going SLI , i'd go for the best & get rid of any incompatability risks.

Interesting...
ULi and SiS have been making some pretty cool chipsets over the past few years. Its good to see some competition from someone other than VIA, nVidia and Intel.
BTW, I voted yes for this because its a good alternative, but I hope I never have to use a multi-gpu solution again, no matter what kind it is. Bleh. :p

SLi has enough problems as it is, I can't image the other option would be any easier.
Why did they use an EpoX mobo? I think there are people on xtremesystems that are running SLi with none-sli mobos. IMO they should test some of the high end intel core 2 duo mobos with two cards. That would be interesting since there are no nvidia chipsets out yet that support both sli and core 2 duo. :-) The asus p5b deluxe would be the perfect cadidate since it has two pci-e 16x ports!
