This is my new rig from the wishlist at newegg.com that I will be building. Can you guys do better than the choices that I have made.. and end up with a lower final price?

http://secure.newegg.com/NewVersion/wishlist/PublicWishDetail.asp?WishListNumber=3407165

Notes: I decided to remove the DVD-RW drive and the Soundcard (Audigy 4) since I already have them on my previous computer and I'll just swap them over.

Rules:
- Parts must only be from newegg.com website.
- Rebates aren't allowed (Unless they are Instant Rebates)
- Final price of rig must be equal to or lower than my final price.
- Processor must be of AMD stock only. (Sorry. No Intel Chips of any kind)
- No Overclocking

Why on earth would you go with the logitech g15 that looks like a space ship and is practically the same size? I mean it's a good keyboard but for 80$ it's just rediculous. So instead get a cheaper keyboard and a 20" widescreen display. :)

- Processor must be of AMD stock only. (Sorry. No Intel Chips of any kind Intel Conroe will take out any Thing AMD, it isn't like before where AMD use to make better processor Intel Conroe is the best right now if you are looking to upgrade now, upgrade to Intel Conroe other wise there no piont in upgrading, to get a outdated processor.

This what your next built sure be based on a nForce 590 SLI Intel Edition, which will be out in a month and for processor which price will drop in a month. intel core 2 due E6700 or E6800 which is a AMD Killer all the way.

You always what a good power supply and with new mobo have 8 pin connecter instead of 4pin for cpu, so don't cheap out on this one.
as far as video cards would wait a month better stuff coming out and old stuff price are going to drop.(Your best bet if you want to save money or built a very good rig is to wait a couple of month by then you will have more money and have newer parts instead of upgrading to older stuff or save money on older stuff and have a better rig ,do yourself a favor and wait two month you will thank youself later for waiting.)

And as far as ram get this OCZ Plantinum same price better ram not G.SKILL heard a lot of bad tings about this ram even with it have lower timing they tend to go bad for some reason wouldn't take a chance on them.

As far as video card you have a good choice, but power supply no that a old power supply go with what i said befor it doen'thave a 8pin connecter only have 4pin for cpu it bad for newer mobo and if you go sli you will have to upgrade it because SLI system take 575w to 600w to power you will have a hard time trying to start rig, I know I built a lot of these rig ask bigman and other forums member I built some of there rigs. It was good power supply but now it just doesn't cut it anymore get at least a 600w or higher.

also, if you go with Conroe, memory speed is shown to not make too much of a difference, because of the cache and alogrithms..

So you could consider getting cheaper ddr2 667 ram with a Conroe and mobo. and still very most likely get better performance stock or oc'd.. and save a few bux.
