This is what I put together:

ASUS P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe
Conroe Xtreme
BFG 7900GTX X2 SLI
Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C4 2GB Kit DDR2-800 XMS2-6400
Silverstone Zeus 750 Watt PSU

On power on the system does not boot
Fans power up
No POST beep
No video
LEDs on CDROM and HD cycle every couple of seconds

I tried dropping down to 1 video card still no dice
Tried swapping videocards out

Unfortunately I don't have any other hardware around to test with

Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

This happened to me when i got this motherboard and the 6800 extreme this past Monday. At first i thought it was a bad CPU because i was able to get the system to boot with a P4 950. But what i did in the end was clear the cmos on the motherboard (procedure on how to do it is in the manual for the p5n32-sli se) and then all booted fine.

You need to flash mobo to updated Bios. So it can support that CPU.

His board should of come with the latest bios (0204) as mine did. When i booted with the 950 i was able to see which bios version i had and it was indeed the core 2 compatible bios.

If for some reason the OP has an earlier bios (which i don't see how that can be since the first bios avaiable is 0204) he will need some other processor installed on the board, this being because he can't get the system to post with the core 2 chip.
