Or fake information :D Seems to me more like NV50 ;)

300-350 Million Transistors on 90-nm process
750-800 MHz Core
16MB Embedded DRAM (134M trans.)
1.4 GHz 256-512MB DDR-II Memory
8 Pixel Rendering Pipelines (4 texels each)
16 Vertex Shader Engines
204.8 GB/sec Bandwidth (eDRAM)
44.8 GB/sec Bandwidth (DDR-II)
25.6 GigaTexels per Second
3 Billion Vertices per Second
DirectX 10 (or extended 9.1)
Release H2 2004

16x1 pipe would make more sense then 8x4 , 16=more horsepower for pixelshaders ;)

if DDR2 +256bus at 1.4GHz then raw Bandwith will be 44.8GB
if DDR2 +512bus  at 1.4GHz then 89.6GB (would be cool)

My opinion such spec at 90-nm process in Release H2 2004 NOT GONNA HAPPEN

Example horrible delays going to .13 , now imagine going to .09 with alot more complexity ,best bet end of 2004 or early 2005 ;)

i think people are having fun to early
with speculation are false information

.. probably Nvidia even doesnt know what are the final
specs of the Nv40..

Obviously a fake rumor. No mention of a super dust buster.

Why not throw in full 3 dimentional circut path design ala Nanotech?:D

Well it's a Q4 product according to the R&D schedule and that means samples at best. May well be a Spring 2004 launch - nothing suprising there.

Should be awesome though - unified shading model, *very* effective framebuffer/mem bandwidth usage and perhaps a DX10 showcase for M$.

Dude, there is no way they will use a .09nm process the SAME TIME INTEL STARTS TO USE IT.

they took all the time to just get into the .13 market, they will use it and use it good.

I mean, if its not broke, why the hell fix it?

They failed to get low-k electrics into the nv30, I say that qualifies as something to fix...;) Without it, you can not clock the card high enough to make it beat an ati card, and the bandwidth has some room to grow to stay competitive. It is entirely possible that hardware bugs also plague the nv30. Until the drivers mature, we can not know that though. If all of these are dealt with then we will see a card worthy of the name FX.:D
