Hey, I've been looking at a geforce 4 4600 card (leadtek's) for a new computer I am building. Anyone know of the possibility of using a DVI to VGA convertor? Anyone ever used one and care to comment about image quality?

Thanks guys

A lot of GF4 (twi)nview cards are shipped with those convertors since they have 1xVGA and 1xDVI (and 1xtvout). The quality is good I think.

I don't think it's really a converter, it's just an adapter (just wires inside). I guess you might see some problems if the thing isn't shielded properly, but I haven't seen any problems the times I've used them.

I bought my converter/adapter on ebay for about $7.00... I have seen it cheaper. Now I can use two monitors with TwinView... yeah!
