G4 had a show called ICONS and one episode was based on the Final Fantasy History. Now they changed it to GAME MAKERS for game related stuff and ICONS is based on any icon in our society.

Intresting video. Didnt realise Nintendo and Sony were going to collaborate on cd tech.

You didn't? Thought it was common knowledge. Could you imagine what the industry would be like right now if the Team Up between Sony and Nintendo never fell through? That would have been interesting, bet the N64 would have been completly different...

In all honesty I believe Sony saved the gaming market. The N64 and Sega Saturn was pretty much pathetic back then.

I will just say thank you...That was awesome. I don't watch G4 much because it's usually crap...But this was great...Thanks again!

That was pretty interesting. Funny how Nintendo effectively made their own worst enemy. Had they never gone to Sony to have them make a CD addon for the SNES, Nintendo may have stayed on top of the videogame market forever (depending on how the Saturn fared without the Playstation around).

Funny that in the end, Nintendo's partnership with Philips ended up producing nothing but the CD-I while Sony went on to make the Playstation. I think Nintendo lost out on that deal :p
