I'm getting tired of waiting, but it can only get more polished as it goes on.

I think when this finally does come out its really going to kick some ass.

Also, the graphics are looking pretty awesome. The lighting and shadows are probably some of the best I've seen in a game. Pretty impressive. :)

Gotta admit, this will be interesting when it finally comes out.

My feel for it so far is kinda like FEAR meets DOOM .... but in a good way!

Man, I hope I'm right ....

I remember those demo videos from a few years ago. Back then, everything they did was relatively new (ragdoll physics, DX9 effects like heat haze, etc.) Now, everyone and their mother has done them, so this really has to be a good game gameplay wise to get me interested.

A demo would be enough to revive Stalker's hype.

For some reason I am enthralled with the quasi-post-apocalyptic setting.

Yuo guys should definately read the book before this game hits:

It's one of the greatest in the domain of sci-fi.

Some of those are very impressive. What is the latest on the release date?

The tricky thing with programming though is, if you change or "fix" something it can create a new problem.

I'll put off reading the book until after I finish the game.

Otherwise, I'll keep telling myself (as I play the game), no wait, that wasn't in the book!! This game is FUBAR! :D

Phew. I thought this game had been canned. I have been looking forward to this for ages.

I played the multiplayer alpha a few months ago, seemed good.

Yeah I played two different leaked chunks of this game over the years, even in the state it was in it was pretty cool.

Yeah, the textures were pretty high res, and the atmosphere was creepy as hell. There were bugs though and it was REALLY unpolished. I dont care about it looking aged, if they deliver on the promise of dynamic AI and gameplay I'm sold. I just hope it sees the light of day :(

That's basically how I feel, but if it was out two years ago it would have looked great, too. ;)

I keep forgetting about this game, then I see something else like these shots. I'm not kidding anyone, I am at EBgames the day (if) this gets released :)

I think russia and related areas make create game settings.
