Just got word today via email that a new version of the beta has been released. You have to uninstall the old one before installing the latest version.

It's not bad at all. Strong point are the sound effects though,. In X-fi mode it's probably the best souding game ever.

I am always a fan of trying something new in the Infantry/Vehicle FPS cometitive space. We will have Crysis and Quake Wars all showing up soon... Aren't they both being released this quarter?

So we have 3 vehicular type combat games to pick from.

Just be thankful we have options as I have been playing BF2 for over a year now with no competition (in't sad?)

This beta is complete ****, it ran great but is just riddled with bugs. Just logging in takes an hour because it says "account already created" and even after slapping ghe keyboard for a username, give me a break. Once I finally logged in, the loading time just wow, this loading kills Call of Juarez. If the final game is anything like this I'll certainly pass.

You must have the old beta build. A new one was released this afternoon which is patched to the same version as the open beta. There are at least 15 servers with 32/32 players.

what a crap beta.. i dont even know where to start. It has all the famous bf2 bugs. the most common is server to the connection has been lost on every server within 5 minutes.

Lags and plays exacly as bf2, i cant on my sickest mind imagine people will buy this crap.

Give us Quake wars now and lets all forget about this stupid battlefield franchise cause its a big joke right now.

I have the new beta, now only 9 players online, this beta sucks ass. I'd rather play with myself then play this crap.

So yeah I played last night for 30mins. Go to play today and I get the whole 'must activate with code' bull**** again.

So I enter in my code again and get told that the code has expired. WTF?

Hey if like the beta and bf2, not having widescreen support, I probably won't even buy it.
