Note to all. I'm running a Coolermaster Centurion tower with a 80mm in front and a 120mm in the back. CPU cooler is a Zalman 9500.

Looks to be pretty much the same core system (no pun intended) that I'm going to be getting. Will be VERY interested how far you can go above 300FBS.

P5W DH Deluxe... I should get a wider SLI bridge next week and then I'll try the modded drivers for 7900 SLI.

Now THAT would be very VERY interesting!!!

So glad you boys are doing all the hard work for me.

:D

Cheers!

im still a bit unsure of oc'ing - im trying to read up more, but this boards bios isnt like my others (i cant seem to find the multplier in bios - and its staying @ 9.3)

edit* sorry, am being daft? the e6600 are locked, arent they?

I'm pretty sure that other than Athlon FX you can't change the multiplier. You might be able to change the multiplier on the Conroe XE6800, and possibly the other Pentium 4/D Extreme Edition proc's. It's not like the good ol' days of Athlons and xp-mobiles when you could up the multiplier. :(

edit* wasnt stable.

going to back off a bit and try again

wasnt stable - im not sure what to do, back off or up the vcore?

if i up the vcore, what temps should look for?

edit* was on standard - and prime failed early - shall i go up in increments, or larger?
