I pretty much only play single player. I did start playing FEAR online a while back, I sucked the first day but by the third day it was failry easy to beat nearly everyone, except when there was a dude on there who owned everyone. So it got boring becuase 95% of the competition was way to easy, and the other 5% were professionals who I could not beat.

Almost all single, very rarely multi...

My experience with most online games is that there are tons of cheaters or super-elites that make getting comfortable with the game impossible. You're dead immediately.

I know that isn't true with all games, (it might just be my luck) but some bad times with CS and such just really turned me off to multiplayer online gaming. If its a lan or in the same room I'm all for multiplayer games.

Especially Co-op...the holy grail.

Hit the nail on the head. It was CS which burned me out to multiplayer too.

I play a lot of single player games. But I've probably spent as much if not more time playing a select few fps games online. 50/50 split for me.

I love multi. No AI out there can match a real human being yet. There are asshats and idiots online, true, but that's life. The only reason i even buy pc games anymore is for the multi, otherwise i'd warez all my games. I also play single player lots too. I'm 50/50.

I get bored way too fast, it's rough when you die every 30 seconds :D Co-op is another whole ball game. Even SS2 was fun in co-op and playing D3 with the kid rocked:D

Couldn't have said it better myself. I only play multiplayer when my friends come over, never online.

i love multiplayer, co-op

like wow or eq, where you can lark about for while with your avatar and go do cool stuff with teams and overcome challenges and stuff

but i havent really got the time - i get too sucked in to it :o

i get owned in games like cs cause im too busy having a cup of tea and stuff like that - i cant be assed to play against people with the reactions of an insect, or have to deal with idiots

but high-end rp - i love it. if i didnt have to eat, sleep, work, socialise id be all over it

I havent played EQ but even with WoW the high end Raids..they take alot of team work and alot of time..but in the end its still..kinda in a way singleplayer because ure not fighting players..ure fighting another npcs...thats where wow is boring for me..but sadly the pvp grind is terrible..2x r14 -.-...

its must be quite hard to balance the 2

achievements like getting tier armour sets is well cool

- but -

getting wtfpwned because you havent got them sucks

so i never really got into wow multiplayer

i love the social aspect of multiplayers - the situations you end up in with lots of friends can be absolutely hilarious ;)

I used to play multiplayer loads back in my Tribes 2 and Unreal Tournament days.

But nowadays I rarely ever play multi.
For example, I've had BF2 for about six months and never touched the multiplayer, or had any desire to really. With these kinds of games I'd rather quickly get into a bot match with the exact setup and maps/mods I want rather than spending time hunting a decent server.

The first thing I look for when deciding to buy a game like that is singleplayer bot support. Which is why I'm disappointed that BF2142 will only have limited singleplayer again, and Quake Wars will have absolutely none at all.

I rarely play mp. I think I like the fact that I can suck at single player and if I play on easy I can still have fun. In multiplayer I go online and get pwned. Not fun, and I'm never going to play enough to compete with a lot of these people.

I love playing against people at our LAN party though. Everybody's pretty close to the same skill level (with a couple exceptions of course) so it's fun for everyone. The first time we played Savage and almost everyone was playing for the first time was probably the most fun I've had at a LAN.

i play almost entirely mp, way back to the q3/rtcw days when i started playing online. the human element is much more than anything that you could wish to add to a sp game, and that's what keeps me hooked. when playing mp in any game for the first time you will get rocked, i don't care what game it is. when i buy a game i immediately go online and learn in mp and not in sp. that has it's ups and downs, but usually within a month i am at the top if not the top in what i play and i take pride in that. yea people cheat and there are super-1337s but they just make you a better player.

i play mp so much that i usually get pwned by the ai in sp because i am still thinking about them as if they can think rather than just run shot run idiots. but i mean it's different strokes for different folks. i play mp because i like to make the morons that talk sh*t stfu. nothing makes me feel better than pwning an idiot that just got done saying how he is god's gift to the game. i used to be into the competetive aspect as well, but i don't have time for that anymore.

About 80MP/20SP

Because i play on a LAN i just play Co-op with my family:)

Because Teamplay to me is More fun than blowing up your friends in Deathmatch&screaming At your Computer screen because someone was cheating or camping...in Coop you never have that so it's All fun(nana2)

50/50, I love to play single player to check stuff out, but I also love killing people online :).
