nvidia-settings problem

If have Geforce2 MX FreeBSD 6.1 Xorg 6.9
and lastest driver.
and i cannot run nvidia-settings utility because of:
The program 'nvidia-settings' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'.

Does this still reproduce if you move ~/.nvidia-settings-rc out of the way?

# make deinstall
# make reinstall clean

Bug was because i had old version of nvidia-settings installed manualy from source in usr/local/bin. And it runs instead of version from ports.
Now i delete it and ports version works fine :)
