Okay, I've heard hints of this here and there but no real info.

So what is the deal? Is it based on a physical modification to the board? A change to nVidia drivers? Modified Intel 975.infs?

If this stuff actually works, well that solves a few of my (pending) problems.

Thx for any info.

There is a hack out there that can allow any dual PCI-E board to run in sli in therory, It's to do with both drivers of the board and nVidias that stops this from working. The drivers dual NV's drivers into thinking it's an SLi board.

It tried it today and it works great. Performance is on par with my old nF4 AMD.
All I did was installing the modded nV Forceware.

So Slawter! You have an ASUS P5W DH 975X mobo and You have SLI x8 running with what DRIVERS?

Oh man, really????

You NEED to do LOTS of testing on this and for God's sake, MAKE A THREAD!!!

:D

Also, where do you get info on this? (Drivers, instructions, a specific site/forum?)

I made a thread here with the drivers :) Yup, I would be tempted to do so, but no Quad SLI support :(

Just a small update on that BF2 problem, it's solved now with the final 1.4 patch. For now, everything works :)Wow, only if it would run Quad :(
