i could see something like this becoming more popular on the server side of things then the client side.... could you imagin this tech in an MMO or a 64 player server with 64 AI bots...

Yes, on the server side it could be interesting for NPC's.

This would be great for a MMO's server, they could actually design AI for NPCs due to lesser burdon it would put on the server on a whole...

But honestly... as an addon hardware... its stupid. Most AI is scripts based on events and checks & balance. There never has been "Real" AI yet and I dout we will see any for a long time.
