I'm wondering , what UE3 game we will be able to play first on the PC ?? dosnet matter if its a demo or a retail game ... anybody has idea or like to guess ?

i imagine its gonna be a big hit even if that game sucked balls & had no gameplay value since eveybody will be using it as the first benchmark point for UE3 & esp review sites.

That demo wasnt that authentic as it reuqired a certain type of CPU/OS (Intel with Win 64-bit or something like that) so it dosent count.
it was more of an ad for Intel , otherwise you would see it being used as a "benchmarking stick" allover the hardware review sites.
the graphics werent anything special either.

The name is Roboblitz ... its a shame for the mighty UE3. may it die in peace :D

BIA Hells Highway?
A possibility .. my guess however would be UT2007 demo since its going to be released long before the final game.

Q4 2006 for EU & Q1 2007 for US .. thats the X360's date so expect the same for the PC assuming its coming to PC indeed!

It is coming to the PC.
That may be the first UE3 game released if we do see it in '06

Yep, Stranglehold and BIA3 have been pushed back.

Rainbow 6 vegas should be out november 7th according to IGN (17th for ps3 launch). then Gears of war on the 14th. fatal inertia on the 17th.

Heavily modded UE2.

I'm pretty sure Rainbow Six: Vegas uses a in-house engine, not UE3. I remember reading that somewhere...but I forget where.

I'm guessing Gears of War, but of course that's not on the PC.

I think its UE3. It may be modded to fit the game though.

Team Xbox has done a Q&A with the Lead Game Designer for R6: Vegas, Maxime Beland, from Ubisoft Montreal. Among other things, the interview confirms the game is using the Unreal Engine 3, and will be on display at E3 next month.

I guess I'm wrong, then. Neato.

I didn't even know R6V was coming to PC, I thought it was going to be PS3 and 360 only.

Yea they recently announced it may be available for PC's as well.

Although I am not happy with the direction they took the Rainbow Six series, the game looks very fun, and the graphics are very good. I just wish they didn't call it Rainbow Six.. heh

I don't like the direction they are taking the series in either, but it can't possibly be any worse than Lockdown.

America's Army was the first UE2 game to come out (even before UT2 and U2.) They announced they were moving to UE3 a long time ago, and given their current track record...

So Epic isn't enforcing some lame rule that they have to be the first company out the door with a UE3 game before others can be released (*cough*VALVe)?

I thought that Vampire game was out before HL2 (I forget if it was Bloodlines or the other one...)
