new European site with "this is living" clips
http://eu.playstation.com/ps3/index.html?locale=en_GB
Theres a bit of content on the page, mostly old screens though.

The site is going to feature multiple online promo clips (they arent short, so probably wont see these on tv). 6 short films IIRC in total.

Anyways theres one already up there in Camera 02, the boxing clip. It seems to have a interesting message of punching bags and speed bags being predictable like older consoles, and the human opponent being next gen games. Theres also some new resistance footage at the end of the clip.

Also, it seems this is the new Eyetoy 2.

And a picture of the PS3 hard drive is also new.

Yeah, SCEE always has some interesting designs with their promotions.

heres a article on the upcoming stuff on the website...

http://www.brandrepublic.com/bulletins/breakingnews/article/590794/sony-backs-launch-ps3-console-online-films/
Created by STREAM\, TBWA\London's brand entertainment arm , the pre-launch campaign kicks off today online, where the six three-minute stories can be watched and downloaded.

In the first film "real time", Bradley Skeet, a lightweight boxer and Olympic hopeful, is shown training and sparring in an urban gym, to demonstrate how PS3 simulates real life.

"Blue ray" highlights the vast storage capacity and search and recall ability of the console, explained through a story from a collector's perspective.

Other films include a story about ordinary objects exploding in an apartment to show how High Definition enhances game play and a film about a new kid's craze called "speed stacking", highlighting PS3's chip capabilities. The last two films show Flatland BMX athletes demonstrating how they use human movement and a behind-the-scenes look at how motion capture technology was used to produce the new 'Heavenly Sword' game.

In addition to the online push, the "stories" will be shown in cinemas nationwide.

Oh man I cant wait for formula 1 and resistance to come. Resistance better be really good for the sake of a good ps3 launch. The site is too slow for me though

Resistance is starting to look like an amped up version of CoD3...

yeah, looks just like cod3 but with alien weapons, alien vehicles, alien enemies, boss fights, different timeline, different location, different multiplayer modes, different story, different physics, etc.

you get the point. ;)

It's interesting that you can put any 2,5" HDD or at least so they say on the page. If it's true you'll get >100GB for 100$... farewell Xbox 3,60 ;-)

Sony stated they won't be selling larger HDDs. They let you buy your own and install it, same with memory sticks. They don't have to be sony branded. Pretty good decision IMO.

I didn't mean literally... just the style of gameplay. It seems to have a similar feel (opinion just based on the HD videos I've seen) to the CoD series.

I suppose. In the sense of soldiers and old school army guns, but beyond that I think it will be entire different experience once you get into the game. But thats just me.

That was I writing about. And by the time PS3 launches 2,5" HDD will be even cheaper.

Is it just me, or do a lot of next gen games look largely the same, they're all ~F.E.A.R quality visually.

It's not just you. This doesn't impress me at all, graphically.
