forgive me if it's in the wrong forum. mods, feel free to move it if so.

I'm considering getting it and newegg is not clear on wich type of slot it fits in to. on this page: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?N=2000380048+1305521460&Submit=ENE&SubCategory=48 says it is PCI-E x16. but this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814143055 says it's pci?

any way, thanks in advance guys and I'm looking foword to your feedback.

And they're all worthless. Worst waste of $300 ever; LOL. I laught at people who've bought it, lol. At $150, it'd be a bit better, but $300, LOL. You should buy the $300 network accelerator!

Yea, it definetely ain't worth $300. I would wait to see what UT2007 does with it... that may be worthwhile.

I still wonder why they even try to sell these things

jAkUp told them to?

I guess they were ready to go and a few games supported them. Might aswell start making money as soon as possible, even if it isn't that much. It will pick up once other games come out such as the mentioned UT2007.

Hardly any games support them, and the ones that do run at a lower framerate with the card than without.

that 300 dollar Killer NIC is a pos. Was testing it for a buddy who had bought it against my suggestion.

Their tech support sucks, and the product actually borked several test machines I put it in to trouble shoot it.

Had no internet connectivety or very limited connectivety, their forums weren't helpful, several posts for support were removed off the forums and they sent a pre-written email to me.

Its basically the Phys-X card all over again
