I'm looking for one last shot of adrenaline for my system,in the form of a G7 series agp card.Which is the latest greatest card I can purchase? I found a 7800gs,is there a 7900gs or perhaps gt I'm missing?

Nope, there isn't an AGP 7900GS. You might want to compare the 7600GS to the 7800GS; if performance is similar, go for the cheaper one.

To be honest, with your 6800 unlocked and overclocked, you're not going to see a real HUGE boost of performance from any of the available cards, but they will help a little.

Its just a matter of how much you want to spend for a small performance increase. The 7800GS AGP is still running in the $270 range and is probably a bit more powerful. The 7600GS is in the $150 range, but its probably slower than your 6800 unlocked.

If the 7800GS is too much, I'd just wait for a more large scale upgrade. Either that, or swap out your current motherboard with a low priced PCI-E motherboard and get a 7900GS or something. Itd probably still be cheaper than the 7800GS and itd be faster (plus you could probably sell the AGP board you're using now).

Yeah, definitely get a cheap PCI-E board and buy a 7900GS or 7600GT... either way, you'll be much faster than your current AGP setup.

It's what I'm doing soon.

Or you could get a cheap and cheerful AGP 7600 GT, which should be quite good:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Nvidia_AGP_Graphics_Cards.html for 135.

There is also a non-official AGP 7900 GT 24 pipelines. It is the Gainward BLISS 7800 GS+ 512 Mb. But for now it is over the 300 euros, so I don't know if it is recommendable for upgrading your system from your current card...Maybe someone could help
