I picked up the evga 7900gs for $199 from mwave along with a X2 3800 and ASrock 939SLI32-esata2 mobo. Anyone else thinking about getting this card? Seems like an awesome value.

Funny, i was gonna get exactly the same mobo and cpu however i changed my mind and went for the asus because it has alot more features and a nforce4 chip and i liked the setup of the asus board alot better, i was also gonna get the same cpu chip but i can get a x2 4400+ 2.2Ghz 1Mb and 1Mb Cache for just 160, so i think ill be getting the x2 4400+ in afew weeks!

A mate of mine has the x2 3800+ and the Asrock 939dual sata2 with a XFX 7900gt....... he loves it..

Sweet man! Which Asus did you get? To tell you the truth, now that I know nvidia disabled SLI on this board, I might return it unopened and spend a little more on a NF4... Did your friend overclock on the Asrock? How did he do?

@Jakup,

Thanks for the linky dude!

Picking up an EVGA 7900 GS KO in a hour or so... Along with a Conroe E6300, and an Asus P5NSLI. Believe me, today has probably been the longest day at work EVER. ;)

See my sig dude, i tried overclocking on my other board before i sold it i had the Asrock 939dual sata2 also a while back, there a cool board if you have a agp card and cant really afford to go pci-e or dont want to go pci-e just yet, there not really good for overclocking dude(not really ment for it)there still a pretty nice board, pretty futureproof, however on my current board ive had my cpu running at 2.95GHz with temps of 35c idle i played bf2 fine at those speeds and it didnt rise above 42c however i didnt try a prime95 test at those speeds!

stncttr908:- i dont know if you mean my card but if you do its not overclocked, thats stock speeds!
