Good ol trusty;) INQ: http://www.theinq.com/default.aspx?article=34249

This could have a substantial impact on the Nvidia market. Why o why o why did I not but an EVGA 7950 GX2. I have always preferred EVGA. I am never going to let XFX suck me in again.:D

I wonder how this would effect warranties on XFX cards...

This is weird, because most of the techs at XFX say there cards have issues with Asus Mobo's...

Most of the Techs at XFX have there head up their:ass:. LOL!! Whoops did I say that. Whatever techs are saying such stupidities need to lose their jobs. Or maybe figure out what the power button on the front of a computer case does.:D

My dad called XFX PR guy Ryan Dumas and he said there is not truth to the rumor.

Huh...Well that is certainly good to know.:D I think the Inquirer authors maybe sometimes dream their stories up and then in the morning write them as if they are real.:p

This wouldn't effect your current warrantee as ASUS would have to take on all the sales, tech help etc of XFX. But for new warrantees they could change them around.

If I'm not mistaken, didn't gigabyte and asus combine? So just would just be adding in another part of the sector. I would imagine if it did happen all gfx cards would probably be stamped XFX.

Never liked Asus graphics cards, too overpriced and doesnt seem to perform as well as other brands. If Asus buys over XFX, then im certian XFX would get affected as well.
