I would like to know if the Aluminium material vs. the SECC material makes a difference on cooling or is it just the weight?

Thanks

probably just weight.

tbh, does the material even make that much of a difference in terms of cooling? i thought the cases cooling potential is based more on airholes and fans as opposed to the actual material of the case.

one is steel, the other is aluminum.

Aluminum is a better conductor of heat so it will move heat from the inside to the outside faster. That being said...I think the majority of cooling in a PC is done by the airflow through the case, not by heat transfer through the material...

So really, the only advantage of aluminum is weight (it's way lighter).

Just to let you know, steel is stronger and can withstand more of a drop than aluminium which would just cripple under the drop.

Saying that, your PC would probably be damaged from a drop.
