My daughter had been playing BloodRayne on her PS2. I just found the PC demo for it and downloaded it. I'll be dam if it's not a pretty good game (third person). I will have to listen to my daughter more, heh heh. The game is coming out around March 15. I liked it enough to pre-order it from EB Games.

It's about a sexy vampire chick who kicks some serious ass and has some righteous moves. It plays very smooth also with a good control interface.

I wanted to check out this demo for a while, but wasn't able to find a download that you didn't need to register with the site for until now. I wasn't really looking hard either I'll grant, but I had a feeling I'd find some good samaritan somewhere who'd be kind enough to supply me the link.

(BTW-If'n anyone thinks it's hypocritical of me to not like sites where you gotta register to download/view, you're right. :rolleyes: )

WOW! This demo is a blast! :cool:

It isn't anything earth-shaking in graphics or anything, but they all look good and I can use them nifty dual-blades to chop up any nazi flags pretty realistically. The whole "feeding & using your prey as a shield" thing is just too much fun with the different vision modes, and unlimited bullet-time pre-installed is a rare first for me!

This game is looking like it will really have it in the single-player fun department, I've just added it to me "MUST be aquired soonest!" list.

I downloadad the demo last night and this game just ownz every other 3rd person action game!!! I didnt have so much fun playing this kind of game for ages! Bloodrayne is pure action and fun.
And the graphics are just amazing. I cant see why it got so low scores..
And its totally cool that you can use "bullet time" whenever you want. Cant wait for this game to come out!!!

I agree with about everything the above poster said, 'cept I can see where they scored it lower on graphics. The demo wasn't as finished as I'd like with that one at times, it felt like a ported x-box game or something that they'd kicked the resolution up on and added higher details too...but it still had some texture clipping/overlay issues like consoles seem more prone to. But over-all I thought the graphics were excellent, I just thought I'd point out that I could see where someone could find them lacking. I just think the gameplay makes up for any of the small glitches. :)

FUN is the keyword for this game for me too, and I betcha it has twice the length/re-play value of U2! ;)
