Hello, just built my new rig, specs in sig.

91.47 drivers.

Every game runs fine except source. Benchmarks are normal, everything at stock nets me 7300 in 3dm05. When trying to play CS:S, the game skips badly. Sometimes i cant even get into the game, as it hangs at the loading screen. One sure fire way to hang source for me is if i try to change AA or AF settings midgame.

Anyone else have these problems?

Can anyone shed some light on this for me? When i first started the game, it set hardware dx level to 9 but detected software dx level as 0.0? i had to force dx9 thru command line. All my other DX9 titles are working fine... 3dm05 score is 7300, is this normal? Specs in sig.

That is unusual for it to happen in only one game. There is a chance your video card is going too fast for your monitor (not the most graphic intense game). Try going into the 3d setting and forcing Vertical Sync On. You can always try to uninstall then reinstall the game.
