Cant install DX9

I'll try installing SP1 tommorow, and see if it'll fix something.

are you doing it under your admin account? I have 1 admin and 1 power user account, eh, didn't have to go into admin account tho to install DX9. I even installed the betas and Release Candidates without any of that. Um... wierd?:p

I heard somewhere that DirectX9.1 is going to be released soon. is that true? if it is than I'll wait (I didn't like the SP1 very much the last time).

Oh and I am THE ADMIN and the only user...

I disabled the "Cryptographic Services" service which is suppsed to: "...confirms the signatures of Windows files..." and ofcourse without it everything defaults to unsigned..........

if this thread gets... ah... deleted somehow I sure wouldn't mind...

actually my baby brother stopped that service not me.... and my dog messed with my computer... and the floor isn't straight...
