what FlightSim has BEST graphics?

I have no idea about the differences between different flight sims, I dont even know whats new, whats old, so hopefully someone can point out a flight sim with the BEST graphics around :) . Is anything capable of what the new 3dmark benchmark looks like? Doesnt matter if the setting is ww2 or modern, I just want something that looks amazing!

Combat Flight Simulator 3 looks very good, but if you have a Radeon 9700 its hit or miss whether it will work or not.

As for me, 3 driver revisions later, and 3.1 patch I still get random lockups.

Lock On: Modern Air Combat looks promising, whenever it is released.

Definately IL2-Sturmovik (http://www.il2sturmovik.com/). I think it looks much better than the 3DMark demo. It also has some kick ass gameplay, I have more hours in front of this game than any other, bar none, and a great community. Screenshots (http://www.il2sturmovik.com/download/screenshots.php)
If you have some patience Sometime near the beginning of March Forgotten Battles is comming out which is the sequel. It has pixel shaded water and all sorts of new goodies.

smokey - yeah i can see the pics now too, weird. Lock on looks really cool, although i think the afterburner plume could use some more work.

wysiwyg - yeah that looks cool too.

So far I would say that lock on has the nicest looking graphics, but that Sturmovik II game coming out in March will probably beat it.

Another vote for IL2 Sturmovik. My best flight sim to date on every aspect.

Although on the purely graphics department, Combat Flight Simulator 2 is beautiful too (and it's the Pacific Theater!)... But once you've played IL2, even flying around in a Corsair with hundreds of Zeros on your six doesn't turn you on as much. :D

Yes FB is still WWII eastern front. Prop planes. Myself I prefer this as I find modern combat difficult in remembering all the tools and how to use them and boring in that the gameplay is identify the enemy early lock on and fire. LOMAC is going to be sweet though. FB has the B-1, ME-232 and the komet if you are looking for a jet/rocket to fly.
FB has gone gold and should start showing up around the 3'rd of March, woohoo. This game is not just eyecandy its gameplay!

it feels like you`re a part of a real battle more than any other sim.
