Primary monitor Out of Range error on boot with 91.47 - not SLI

I have two wide screen monitors Fujitsu Siemens W19-1 (running in dual view) and a 7900GT BFG. Native resolution is 1440x900 at 60Hz. I installed 91.47 on a fresh install of Windows XP and once every two or three reboots I get a blank screen on the primary monitor with the following error: Out of range 55/59. Please use 1440x900 at 60Hz. The problem is that both monitors are already set for this mode, so I don't know what to do. I changed monitors and the same thing happens on the second monitor. Now, if i power down the monitor and power it up immediately, then I get image, but it's annoying to do this every time. I'd like to know if it's a driver or a vid card problem. If it's a driver problem, I can try a different set, but if it's a vid card problem, I should change it.

The rest of the system is a conroe 6600 on intel d975xbx (latest bios).

Sounds like a driver problem. You may want to also download and run Refresh Force after installing a new set.

if you lower the resolution, does it still happen?

Sounds like a problem with the vertical/horizontal timings.

actually, the monitors always show this 55/59 in their settings menu, no matter what i choose in windows. it always worked like that on my old 6800GT agp.

anyway, i upgraded to 91.92 beta and the problem is gone (uninstall 91.47 first), so if anyone is getting the same thing try these drivers.
