VPU recover kicked in during a gaming session, back to the 6.3s for me.

Played for 2 ours last night and it feels like everything is runing somewhat smoother. Especially with HDR+AA.
6.2Beta's and 6.5 were great for me. The 6.6's were hell on my pc. The 6.7's were weird on my system but so far no problem's with the 6.9's
Wish they'd release a new driver for Vista (RC1, that is)...
Does anyone else think the drivers are getting a little ridiculous size-wise? A friend of mine recently had to download an Nvidia driver over dialup and I felt pretty sorry for him since it was 40 meg but geez, the latest beta Vista RC1 driver for ATI is 75 meg. If you download the 32/64 bit version it's an unbelievable 150 meg!!! What the heck is up with that? It's just utterly ridiculous. On a related note, I'm glad I have broadband, otherwise, I doubt I'd bother upgrading video drivers.

Please Note:
This driver release is not meant to be installed on Windows Vista RC2. The in the box RC2 drivers are more current than the ones posted for RC1. We will be posting a RC2 driver shortly.
