Don't know if it's 100% real, but one thing is for sure... it's 10x more logical than the G80 specs that were released. Stole this info from Rage3d.

HAHA I love thes slides, but aren't they a little old anyway?
The marketing is Genius!
More Shaders
More Bandwidth
More Power
YARGH!

These are incomplete specs. Doesn't mention much about the actual clock and memory speeds. Nor does it say much about how many pipes it'll have.

Lol, and for that reason these slides may actually be real. But who cares? They tell us nothing.:o
It does give us the memory bandwidth. By that you can get a rough idea of the memory clock.
hmm free 4xFSAA ?! this is like a dream!

Notice the "HD audio":D
That sounds cool:p
80gb/sec should = 1.3ghz or something like that.
Although it dose not say the hard specs... It dose indeed give us a Major clue on what to expect.

That's believable. They claim the same thing on the Xenos GPU as long as the edRAM is used as it should be. Wouldn't surprise me if ATi figured out a way to do this in the desktop realm.

Doubt it they said the same for the 360 and well that was completely wrong.

I there any chance these new cards will fix specular aliasing?

To get "Free AA" on the X360 developers much code their engine with it in mind, PC developers wont do such a thing since not every PC on the market will be running ATIs R600.
The "Free AA" for PC would just be a powerful enough card that performance hits would be unnoticable when AA is enabled (high enough memory bandwidth).

People from Beyond3D forum said these R600 slides are fake.

Yeah, seems weird the 360 is just placed in first slide for no reason :o

I know this is off topic, but we are discussing 4xAA- isn't 2xQ AA just as effective as 4xAA just without the performance hit? I thought that is why 2xQ was so big back in the day. If so, then technically we'd already have 4x AA for free. :) Or am I missing something such as 2xQ AA only working on certain objects and surfaces?

First slide says R600 is "Second generation USA" with Xbox360 beeing their first gen USA.;)

I call fake on this, on the last slide, the image of the landscape shown (bluish purplish) was created by Terragen, which is CPU only.)
These slides have so many typos that is so obvious they're fake. I'm amazed no native english speaker noticed.
Does the 2nd slide have a spelling error or am I reading it incorrectly.
"R600 will double the performance or R580". Shouldn't that be of?
If anyone remembers the X1k "sell sheets" also had grammar errors but they were real.

Looks good. Will be a hot race for the first place this winter. That's good for us customers.
R600 is looking very good. The only thing I worry about is the cost.

There is no DirectX 10, its D3D10.....
There is no DirectX 10, its D3D10.....
In Vista I run DxDiag and it says DirectX 10.

Technically directX10 is just a compilation of APIs in which D3D10 is included, like DirectSound is, etc. I guess that was what he was trying to say.
Have you noticed they say nothing about VCAA ?
(disregard this if slides are fake)

I hear claims there is no more Direct3d, only DirectX10.
