The fun-factor is no doubt going to be high, but the graphics department doesn't impress much. Expected alot more after seeing Lost Planet on the 360 (also Capcom).

Apparently Capcom has the game running at 100fps currently. So I guess they could push it graphically some more. They still have quite some time before release as well.

I wouldn't really compare it with GoW, they're two different art styles really. But DMC4 is probably my fav looking game from the art style etc.

Hey guys remember that "special announcement" Capcom said they had?

Well here it is:
Kobayashi closed off with the big news that Capcom had been promising prior to TGS. Devil May Cry is being converted to an anime! The anime will feature Dante as the main characters and will begin airing on Japanese cable in 2007.

Nothing really to do with gaming aspects, lol.

When you aim at a fixed framerate (ie 30 or 60 fps) you've to take into consideration the "worst case scenario" because, no matter of how many things are rendered on screen, the framerate must not fall under the imposed limit.

So it's perfectly normal to have the game during debugging stages running at a higer framerate (think of it as if they were turning off the vsync). As long as the fps never falls under the aimed framerate there is room for improvements.

Yea, it's also nice to see this type of game aiming for 60fps. A few other titles have been taking the low road(30fps).

Capcom doesn't seem to be playing around this gen. Their pushing out some killer titles, Dead Rising, Lost Planet, DMC4. I have a good feeling they will hit that RE4 target render shown way back.:D
