IT Administrator at a Law Firm.

Right now I'm making upto date images of our workstations for Ghost. We have 5 different make of HP/Compaq around so its a pain compared to if we just had the one.

Yup. We had some big updates to our legal software so we really need new images.

Would suck to have to install XP from scratch on each of the 60 or so machines. So I just roll it out over the network via ghost.

Ya, that woudl suck big time to install everything over again on 60+ pc's. Go Ghost!

What sucks more is when I need to quickly ID a machine and I find the user has pulled off the ID sticker. I found one with the XP activation code and the HP serial numbers pulled off. There goes the warranty.

The reason for this?? They wanted their workspace to look nice. Double U Tee Eff!
