Hey check out this game engine (http://www.4drulers.com/amp.html). Reminds me a little of D3 engine. There is also a engine demo available for download. Looks neat;)

EDIT: Will only run on GF3 or GF4. Doesn't work on ATI cards yet:eek:

I must say that going by the screenies it does look pretty sweet.. as you say it reminds me of the Doom3 engine.. looks quite similar.

3dgpu have some screenies up if you may wanna check em out ;)

the demo said my card isnt supported. (or something like that when i tried last night) :(

it is really picky about drivers. In order for it to work you have to use the latest non-beta drivers from nvidia. eh... didn't work for me either until I did that, kinda... stupid

demo crashed on me with beta drivers. deleted it right after that, figured it wasn't worth the trouble.

I cant see someone paying 40000$ for that engine if its not compatible with all vid cards :wtf:

You have to use 41.09 driver inorder for it to work, it look really great in motion and ran fine on Geforce3 ti500 and Athlon 1.52 gig (about 25-30fps).
It's similar to doom3, it have realtime self shadowing, and in motion, it looked great, I like how the lighting cast in the area when you're opening fire with your machine gun, especially in really dark area.

It's worth downloading if you don't mind installing an older driver. It's just a tech demo though.
