what ever happened to NV50? was it just renamed to G80? or is NV50 a seperate project?

Anyways, I tried your boys' driver fix and played F.E.A.R. for ~30-40 minutes last night and it sure seems to have helped a bit. The lowest fps I saw was 31 in scenes were I recall seeing high teens.

As far as we're concerned, the NV50 is the G80.

Basically, Nvidia changed their nomenclature with the release of the G70/NV47, for whatever reason. The NV40 was the 6800, The NV47 was the G70, and the G80 will be the NV50.
