Dude, by years end I'll STILL have this rig, thats it... unless I land a new job, but even then I'd probably be buying a new place...

Well, your rig isn't too shabby. I know the power of the 6800GT. I'm sure it'll last you quite some time. Me, I'm too picky about IQ. I have to have the best graphics. As such, I do without a lot of other things to feed this graphics-fetish of mine. :(

Yeah the ram will shift some numbers but tbh, i want a group up rebuild. Processor/motherboard/gfx/ram etc

My rig is a dvd player and net box 90% of the time, but yeah, I can throw on hl2 and it will move I guess. :captnkill:

Actually, I've been stock piling some funds in anticipation of G80. But, it is starting to look as if I will bypass G80 and wait for the refreshes. If so, I'll have some $$$ left over for other goodies. :D

HL2 would play great on your rig. ;)

Now Crysis and Alan Wake- those are a different matter. :(

Well, after the two video cards- I will probably get the Auzentech XPlosion 7.1 sound card- mostly due to its ability to encode the audio content in Dolby and DTS Digital. That would spank EAX raw in quality if you have it hooked up to a decent reciever. :naughty:

Don't feel too bad, I'm still stuck on s754. Luckily for me Epox made an nForce4 SLi based mobo for s754. This mobo, my 3700, 2GB DDR500 ram, and two top end video cards spell out one screaming fast gaming rig. :D :D :D
