My hometown! Many years ago, of course. ;)

Our grand victorian old town. Much of it is being renovated and rebuilt down there. Most the buildings aren't earth quake safe- and we frequently have earth quakes. :(

That is just north of my hometown on hwy 101- maybe 10 minutes outside of the city limits. Behind it is the Mill Yard- one of the largest ones in this area. All of five minuts further north brings you to our bay- the end frequented by duck and goose hunters. ;) During waterfowl season, you frequently drive by and see the road lined with trucks, and it is quite common to hear shotguns going off as you drive by. ;)

My home! :D As you can tell, it isn't a large city- all in all a total population of about 50k (if you include the daily commuters). We have a lot of greenery around here. ;)

I hope I eventually have enough money to have a place as gorgious as this inn. I know it isn't really a house- but I still wouldn't mind it being my house. :D

Back in the flood of '65 (or, I think it was '65- might have been '62), this was the only bridge to withstand that terrible flood. This bridge has a lot of historical value here.

Not the cleanest water through there- a lot of mud. Though it really isn't as dirty as this picture makes it look. It is plenty safe to swim in- just god awful cold. :(

This shot is if you were coming from the Hayward Flat campground (by boat, of course). By sticking to the left of the island, and then turning right it'd take you to the marina. ;)

Tis DeadFall Lake- the very first place I hiked to- at the age of 3! :D About a 2 mile hike from the trail head to the lake it self- mostly flat. I hiked all the way in and out on my own! :D And yes, I did have a little day pack. ;)
