I went through my "vegetarian years" due to living so close to our food!

I hated when the butcher would come and kill our pets... traumatizing!
Okay, the problem was you let those animals become pets.
See, it'd tear me to pieces if I ever had to have any of out dogs put down. Cause we've had 'em so long now they are more than pets. They're like family members. I'd cry like a big baby if either of them died.
But, with live stock, you can't get to feeling like they are pets. Otherwise it is really hard come time to butcher them. And it makes it even harder when you have to eat 'em.

Even now the sight of a steak is not very appatizing to me. But I do eat meat.

Yes, I can definitely understand that. I assume that you grew out of being a vegetarian?

My pig Corky was trained like a dog. He would chase after us and he got baths too...

Hmm... I love steak. But I can understand why you wouldn't. I know it is a bit late now, but really you should have neve allowed yourself to get that close to the animals.
You'd be enjoying all sorts of meals with all kinds of meat now had you not gotten so close. Oh well, not too important I guess. It is just meat after all, right? ;)

I assume you are probably against hunting as well? Or do you just prefer to let the hunter's hunt, so long as you have nothing to do with it?

When I first met my better half, she was not against hunting. She was fine that I did it, so long as I never talked to her about it. She had the "Bambi" mentallity. Now, over 5 years later, she is starting to get the itch to go hunting.
Maybe some time soon she'll be able to come along, I'd love that. But, not this season I fear. :(

Romantic? I can see where you'd say that, but trust me- not much about it can be romantic.
Your too busy sleeping at night to do much, and during the day you are concentrating on being a couple steps ahead of what ever game animal you are hunting.
But, in some ways it can be romantic.
I tell ya', to be traversing the side of a mountain at sunrise, and see the fog slowly melting away- it is a sight of upmost beauty.
To be hunkered down in your duck blind just as the first rays of sunlight bounce across the silky smooth lake. The see the water evaporate from the lake just after sunrise, and to hear the animal community at that lake come to life...
Yeah, I guess that could be romantic. ;) Though she has yet to witness it.
One day she will, that's for sure. ;)

Oh, all this talking of hunting is starting to depress me. :( My dad and sister are going hunting next weekend, and I might not be able to go due to work. :(

You know, I'd love to be here and spam the rest of the night. But I do truly believe that wont happen.
I've actually been more of a gaming mood than a spamming mood. That'd be the reason why I haven't spammed nearly as much as I did in the original spam thread.
Go back and check, I had well over 1k posts in that thread. :D I believe it was 1200 or so. That is a lot of spam! :D

I don't have the time to spam nearly as much any more. My life suddenly got extremely busy! I'm in the process of remodelling my room, which is taking forever due to work. On top of that I have many other things going on.
So, not much spam from me as of now.
