IIRC the Go 7800GTX launched with the desktop 7800GTX and was adopted rather quickly. I'm in a bit of quandry in that I don't have a computer, haven't had one for a while actualy, and finaly have the funds to get one. I've been wanting a laptop but am hesitant to pick up a nice DTR now as a Go 8800GTX could be around the corner. But seeing the power requirments and heat output makes me wonder if they could even do that..

thoughts?

there will be a go chipset, there always is. it just might take a little longer.

if i were you spending that much i'd build a nice 8800GTS desktop & pick up a 20" LCD.
