Um as someone commented earlyer thats the european price with around 15% tax included and other economical reasons for haveing a higher price in europe.
Compared to the other euro gffx's its around 50ish more.

What country are you priceing from?
Anyways in USA the best price i can find on Radeon is $299... and the GfFX is $399. As i stated before the Golden Sample adds 50$ (it has a soundcard and headphones and software)
so lets compare
500$ for Radeon and 650$ for Gainward GS... seems the same relation as the prices here, just inflated for some reason?
Anyone have answer why they charge more for electronics in europe?

I know, i have no idea why they put it in. But i do need the headphones they say are in it too.
They need the soundcard and headphones to cover the noise of the gffx ofcourse :D
anyways, how did this turn into an fx thread?
Hey, I got a great idea. "The way it's meant to be played" ear plugs. You could sell them with every FX card.
Nobody needs sound in games anyway.
On a more serious note: Does anyone know how loud something has to be before it causes hearing damage?

i think around 120
then again that depends, some people say that all sound causes damage just to a diffrent extent. eg. you eventually get more deaf as u get older.
