An image is just an artificial reproduction of an object which bears but a resemblance of the object itself. Once CGI is good enough to make images indistinguable from those taken with a camera, they must be both considered equally effective in their purpose.

thos playboy shots have probably been photoshopped anyway, lol

another way of saying it - a camera is just a device that measures the light bouncing off a person. and the pictures probably get photshopped.

they can use hardware/software to measure her, and take photos of her face for textures, just another device for a reproducable image.


its the same thing to me, sorry - but i do agree with you - my brain still finds photo's more of a turn-on, becuse i know she has stuff on the inside, whereas a gfx model doesnt.
but there are other things that are a turn-on that arent reality - i.e computer fantasies and (stuff like) hentai.

Yet, you cannot be sure about what you're seeing. A typicial example is some transgenders which went through extensive plastic surgery and that look exactly like real women. Discovering their true nature is a shock to many people, particulary if they found them attractive before.

The psycological effect behind a CGI image is not that different. I understand you might feel uneasy looking at a very attractive an lifelike CGI image of a woman but yet, each time you look onto a male magazine, there's no guaranteee what you see is "what you get" in the end ;)

PS: From silicone to silicon the step is short... :D
