Recommend me a good webcam.

So far i been thinking about either one of the new creative webcams, or MS lifecam VX-6000.

Logitech Pro 4000, if you can find one used, or, unless you're under linux (for which support simply sucks), Pro 5000.

Your comment kinda reminds me of the ones shouting : "Oh, that camera only has 4M pixels, it sucks". Resolution isn't everything, you know ? ;)

That said, what do you need it for ? Web conferencing ? Skype ? Or do you need a higher res ? Because for web streaming, or conferencing, or skype, 640x480 is, imho, more than enough, if it is a high quality 640x480, that is.

If you need a higher res, the UltraVision looks to be really good (it goes up to 960x720 video), with an amazing picture quality. I never used the VX-6000 but from the reviews I saw, it doesn't reach the same quality, but get this with a grain of salt...

I think the best thing you could do is go to some shop, and try them, preferably under the same light conditions...

Somehow I doubt it would qualify under "good webcam", at least quality wise ;)
