Just couldn't play it on those dual GX2's, such horrid frame rates and image quality!

Here, I'll lend you one of my 7600GT's so you can play it on a real card! :p :D ;)

I hope there's a quick turnaround on a port to the 360.

I must say the demo was quite underwhelming. I was hoping for some new twist or added element but it was more of the same. This is not necessarily a bad thing since I loved the original and beat it about 4 times, but maybe that's why I was disappointed when I got the same gameplay. Also for some reason the demo ran quite a bit worse than the original game and the graphics were the same. Perhaps I had some settings wrong or something.

It only ran bad for me at the bloody room .. every other place was the same as the original.

I was reading somewhere the control setup for FEAR on console was horrible. I'm bad enough at consoles, pc for me..

I always see it that way : FPS + Consoles = no go

Great, thanks for the heads up SH64

I loved Fear, played it two times...

and amazingly it ran pretty decently on my rig :)

and i installed FEAR again, and extraction point ran a lot better than the original game with the CPU settings all maxed out. Dunno why it performs the same for some people :eek2: Or maybe i just unconciously worked out a driver issue or something

Usually those complaining about FPS games on a console are PC gamers. While I will agree to an extent that a mouse and keyboard is ideal, I have no problems at all playing F.E.A.R. on the 360. I think the controls are quite intuitive, thanks mainly to the design of the 360 controller.
