Linux & G4Ti 4200 Video-in?

I'm looking at upgrading my vid cards in two computers and I'm about settled on Nvidia G4Ti 4200 based versions, MSI or Asus. I've tracked down enough to know that I can leave Windows entirely except for one thing. I can't find any information on enabling/using the video-in capabilities of these cards running under Linux. Is anyone else doing this and if so can you point me to the information please?

There's no official tv-in support for nvidia boards on linux but there is a project called rivatv which is working on this stuff.

They have tv-in working but there still might be some bugs left. Check out http://rivatv.sf.net.
