gohhhh... :drooling:

Looks sexeh...

I want it.

Oh, and holy freaking molex connectors. I thought with the 2 PCI-E connectors you'd only need to plug in 1 molex each. I guess not. :o

EDIT: BTW guys, lots more pics at that link.

Btw is that a dudes hand or a chicks?...

Also..nice stuff with the PSU connectors..now on the side rather than on the front end near the HDD's/etc..pretty nice..though i wonder now that its on the side..has extra space gone into the length..looks like a 7950GX2..heavy..big..Powerfull!!>!

Follow the link and you see more pics of the guy holding it. Yes, I'm pretty sure its a guy. Just the typical skin and bones slightly effeminant asian guy :p

You do. 2 PCI-E connectors will suffice; it looks like they were using Y adapters for some odd reason, which will also work.

I'm using one of those Y adapters on my card right now with 2 seperate molex cables (2 totaly seperate lines from the PSU) running to them. As far as I know, this can help the card take advantage of dual 12v rails... though I dont know if thats just a rumor or not.

This card sorta scared me though becaue I planned on doing the same thing, but I just dont have 4 molex connectors to spare. :p

That thing is a beast! It does look pretty damn long. Is it just me or does that card look kind of beat up in those pictures? Ah well. And Victor Wang needs to cut his damn fingernails!! How can he stand that!! :barf:

That is one massive heat spreader... at least I hope thats the heat spreader...

Could the core actually be THAT big?

Why does it have two SLi connectors?!?!

nekrosoft13

double SLI connectors

I wonder how better the new cooler is compared to the last ones. The ones on the 7900GTX rocked, hopefully this one does the same.

The card looks pretty damn long. It better fit in my case!

EDIT: Dammit G80 is confusing me now. 2 SLI connectors and a pretty big heat spreader....? Well it does have a lot more transistors than G71 so I guess that would account for it. I still think there is something else we don't have specs for.

Why are the ram pads obscured on the GTS and what's that thing saying "keep out" blackened?

nekrosoft13
10-24-06, 08:52 AM
haha, it does say keep out

maybe a easter egg by nvidia, when you take off the heatsink

Why does it have two SLi connectors?!?!
Yeah thats what i was wondering myself maybe like ATi's native crossfire so you can hook up more then two video cards. Or it now needs the extra bandwith over 12bit.

Tri-SLI????? or SLI and physics at the same time??? We've seen motherboards with 3 pci express slots, have to wonder if this is why.
