If you have room you can get some 3.5 to 5.5 drive bay converters and put your hard drives in the 5.5 bays...
Thats the problem I dont have to room to convert my 4 HD's.:(

I just did some remeasuring and I'm off by 1/4 of an inch !!!! It would be scraping up against my freaking drive bays!:banghead:
Looks like I will only be getting 2 GTS cards.
Oh man this blows.
I guess you don't want to buy another case :)
i have a Coolermaster ATCs 201 and my current 7800GTX just about fits (i have 4 HDDs)
looks like i will have to get the GTS version
im not willing to buy a new case
the alternatives are too ugly for my liking

My guess, the Inq canīt measure for ****:

IMO, the card looks to be closer to 26cm instead of 28cm.

What about using a 3-in-2 LianLi converter (which allows you to have 3 HDs in 2 5.25 bays, and, btw it has a nice fan, too) and 1 3.5 to 5.25 one ? Don't you have 3 spare 5.25 bays ?

Yeah .. the GX2 & the X1900XTX are about 23cm .. being 28cm seems more than what its look like.
i hope the Inq are mistaken.

you guys must have awefully small cases for this to be a problem... I could fit a 31 cm card into my case easily and without the harddrive cage i can fit one 41 cm. No problem here....

I know... I could fit an almost 3ft long card in my case as long as I wasn't using the top few 5.25 bays.

Yep the problem usually comes from those 5.25 bays .. thats why i'm starting to like cases with HDD bays/cages that rather placed higher than the PCI-E slots .. it wasent a problem before , but now it is esp when going SLI.

I'm going to have to rearrange and move a hard drive cage in order to make it fit, but there won't be any problems, I don't think. :)

One of my primary reasons behind getting the case I have now is that I broke off a resistor trying to squeeze in my 9800pro past the hard drives a few years ago ( I could have removed the drives, installed the card and then put the drives back, but just the concept pisses me off). Needless to say it didn't work out as planned.
I have about 2 inches (little over 2 inches, actually) past the 7950 GX2 so hopefully the 8800GTX will fit in my Antec P160 case.

Will the 8800GTX fit in a Antec SLK3000B case?
