I just received a media package from my good friends over at EA with the following:

Inside this delivery you will find –

-MoHA Box art for PC and Xbox360
-Unreleased Concept Art
-Logos
-A Rendering of Boyd Travers
-The first screens from Medal of Honor Airborne

View gallery here (http://www.fpsadmin.com/gallery/main.php/v/EA/album/MOHA/)

I should also add, that my staff will be heading out to EALA for the MOH:Airborne community day this weekend. Thus we should have some good information at the end of next week.

Unfortunately I can't attend because my real world job thinks I should be flying up to New England instead of LA. For some reason my wife and boss thinks it's more important then my hobby :)

I cant wait for this especially after they said its going back to its roots. Not a fan of many of these Sci-Fi shooters and there damn laser and plasma guns.:thumbdwn: Give me my good ole WWII shooters.

Looks beautifull, I personally can't get enough WWII shooters, one of my favorite genre's. I'm usually hooked on the History Channel as well when one comes out.

Your welcome, we're told that they're working on capturing that old MOHAA style\feel, but I think we would be fooling ourselves if we actually believed that. Nothing against EA but that is always easier said then done to be honest. Let's hope they get close. I must say the devs are working hard, we have setup an old style MOHAA server so the devs could play some MP while we show them how not so easy it is to admin a server where your helpless against the smacktard without the correct tools, A/C and some type of Autokick (crowkings)

Hopefully we will get more of an idea on how its turning out by early next week. Also I've been given a couple links from EA.

MoHA First Looks have begun to hit the web, with more to come:

“We got the opportunity to journey down to Los Angeles to see how EA is shaping Medal of Honor: Airborne into a lethal killing machine, and we loved what we saw.”

“After our visit to EA Los Angeles, we are tantalized by the truly next-gen innovations that Medal of Honor: Airborne offers. Unlike any other game in the genre of WWII shooters, you'll at last be able to scope out the lay of the battle and then choose your insertion point. If the developers at EA LA can pull off what they're shooting for, Medal of Honor: Airborne could be the WWII game of our dreams.”

“Just when you thought there was nothing new under the sun in the World War II genre, EA's LA studio is putting a unique spin on its storied shooter series.”

Just wanted to point this out:

The team at EA LA is using a "heavily modified" version of Unreal Engine 3 to create Airborne. source: Gamespot.

Does anyone know if the unreal engine supports or will support DX10?

I'd love for this series to return to its old PSX glory days. Those, and MOHAA were some of my favorites.

In the interview with Tim Sweeny at e3 he mentions that they will be implementing dx10 into the engine.

The screens look weak. I can get passed sloppy graphics but it just doesn't feel like WWII. BiA does it perfectly (i mean, they design their levels based on real life areas and events). For some reason it looks like you're playing on a WWII movie set instead of WWII itself.

I think you over analyzed those shots way to much and its kind of foolish to say it doesnt feel like WWII when you have not had a chance to play it or even see videos.

Yeah pictures dont really justify the game .... we need in game real-time footage to feel whats going on.

I also miss those old days too ... MOHAA was one of the best games back in the PSX / PS2 days ...

Right now it's only the smaller wmv but the HD version should be up in about 20 minutes
