Ok, I have NF7-S, 2600+, winXP, 9500pro, 512MB XMS 3200C2
turbolink 430Watt, swiftech water cooling.
When I run at higher resolutions, like 1280 and up I get this screen crawl issue, where these little lines run down the screen, I have a power strip (with surge protection) what is the deal? When I had a voodoo4 in there it worked fine, so did my old TNT2 ULtra (btw, I was waiting for the 9500pro, and that is why I had the old stuff in there) I sold the voodoo to some guy with an old system now. (I have a 4200 in my other system, but I had heard good stuff about the 9500pro)
also I had to install Win2k to play morrowind b/c the Cat3.1 drivers would not work with it. And my 4200 plays it faster what is the deal? Seriously it is kinda pissing me off since I spent $165 on the radeon, and now I have a system that runs worse than my older one lol
And my 9500pro seemed to freeze for no reason in games and windows, like for a second.
BUT BEFORE anyone gets all crazy, my CPU just failed so maybe the 9500pro was completely innocent of all the problems I have laid at its feet :)
other machine: p4, 2.4Ghz, 4200, scsi, 512 Rdram 1060, winXp, asusp4t533c
