I remember nvnews getting a 6800 ultra to test back in March or April 2004. Is it going to be the same with the G80? I am just interested to know.

Well I Don't Know about nVNews, But check THIS (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=120598) Out, these guys dont care about NDAs, they tested a G80 on a Core 2 Quad 6600 Running @3.6GHz, It scored over 11,000 in 3D Mark 06 :D

VictorWang doesn't have an NDA, since he bought it with his own money. So he can post all the benchmarks he wants and more! :) Too bad he has to work like 19hours/day... :(

I heard he met with Chuck Norris this weekend and combining their powers, they were able to fit 8 into three PCIe slots with only a single SLI bridge.

The gaming performance was so intense that it blacked out the entire Eastern seaboard.

Loool, how did they managed that, with a roundhouse kick? :)

I think the black out was caused by the power requirements of G80:p although, it is possible that Chuck Norris Gave a Roundhouse Kick and the whole area blacked out:)

I don't think Mike has a ridiculously high spec system. I could be wrong, but I think I remember him saying something about it a while ago.

Things could have changed though. Maybe the site is bringing in a crap load of money and its going straight to his gaming system. :p

Wow, you got them too? Where are you?

I'm in north western PA and we had multiple power outages over a span of about 4 hours.

That must've been when Mike and Chuck roundhoused an FX-62 and E6600 together into a single chip showcasing only the strengths of both CPUs.
