But that slogan... I can't believe they used "Are You Ready For More..." :eek: Poor nVidia.
But hey... who cares... I'm ready! :D

Ok, THAT is funny!
I think ATI has been remarkably well mannered and low-key during nVidia's recent....uhm, 'bad streak' lately.
This is one sweet & classy cut-down. Two more points for the good guys. :p

Did you see that VisionTek is back today?
That ad is off their site....they're advertising video cards again, and they're honoring their warranties on ALL their old cards again too! (Yeay! LittleZ is covered again...if the warranty hadn't been voided so many times already with modding.)
I think their 'hip & leet' lingo is just a TAD over the top, (and that's coming from me! ), but I really would love to check out their 9500 Pro to see their take on it. :D

God I hope the R400 is not delayed. Haven't heard anything about the tapeouts yet. Hopefully this month we will find out. I had the impression that late Feb. early March was the expected date. I guess whenever it is, its gonna be a smoken chip. :eek:

I've read somewhere that it has already taped out or is about to tape out around this time of year. Don't know where it was. Beyond3d or Rage3d probably.

It's just a piece of hardwar. :p Not really, it's just the Geforce FX has been paper launched for quite a while now and was so post to go retail early to mid February, it's coming on March now!

Lan'd this weekend, my 9700pro was the star of the party, everyone was ohhh ing and ahhhhh ing at the demos and when I put ut2k3 with everything turned up, a few people asked if I had a fricking mod/addon!!!
I'm not ready, I want my 9700 to keep it's value.
Might as well kick them when they are down :p

I like that, i dont oc videa cards eather, wont give you a preofrmance increase unless you watercool it.
Meanwhile, im still going to buy a Gf FX :P

IMO the FX is a joke and just a paper launch. I want to play games, not wait for a card. That's why I bought the 9700pro

I like games too, my Gf3 plays em all, i have a feeling though its gonna run out of steam with Doom III.
So then its time to upgrade :P

Hopfully ATI will teach Nvidia proper PR, by actually following through in a timely manner.
Who ever came up with it won't give you an increase unless you water cool it? Are you talking about the 9700p ?

proper PR? Proper PR is when you have people lineing up for a product that isnt going to be released for a long time. I gotta say Nvidia has one hella PR department, they could probly sell poo on a stick. heh.
